Business CMA · Comparative market analysis
See how your business compares, and what to fix first.
A Business CMA is a written report. It compares what customers can see of your business with five to ten direct local competitors, shows the evidence behind each finding, and ends with three actions in priority order.
Status
Online purchase is not open yet. Price, eligibility and terms are still being finalized. For now, ask us by email.
Who it is for
One business, one service, one market.
The first release is built for owner-operated local service businesses: one location or service area, one main service, and one type of customer per report. A business with several locations needs a separate analysis for each.
The report starts with what customers can see: your website and service pages, public listing, public reviews, and contact or booking options. You may also choose to provide business figures to help interpret the findings. We do not submit forms, place test calls or contact your competitors as part of the standard CMA.
It is not a business valuation, an SEO score or a revenue forecast. We check that a CMA fits your business before any purchase.
The report
Nine sections, the same in every report.
An evidence appendix follows, listing sources, collection dates, exclusions and assumptions.
Business snapshot
Who you are, what you sell, where you serve and which channels we looked at. It also lists what we could not find out.
01
Comparable businesses
Five to ten direct competitors for the same customer, why each was chosen, and who was excluded. If fewer than five suitable competitors qualify, we explain the limitation and agree on an alternative before proceeding; we do not present a limited diagnostic as a full CMA.
02
Market benchmark
Your figures beside theirs: the raw values, how many businesses each comparison covers, and the dates they were collected.
03
Where you are ahead
Strengths the evidence supports, and what to keep doing. If none are evidenced, the report says that.
04
Where competitors are ahead
Gaps the evidence supports, how serious each one is, and how confident we are in it.
05
Revenue risk and opportunity
Which step of the customer's path is affected and why it matters. Money figures appear only when you supply the numbers behind them, and then as labeled scenarios.
06
Top three actions
What to do first, the reason, who owns it, the first step, and how you will know it worked.
07
Repair options
Ways to carry out each action: doing it yourself, using another provider, or a scoped NHAUS repair where one applies.
08
Next 30 days
A dated plan with owners, dependencies and what to measure.
09
Review and evidence
A person checks every report.
A reviewer checks the evidence, the choice of competitors and each recommendation before a report is released. The findings are meant to be honest even when they lead to no sale.
- Every claim has a source
- Each finding links to what was observed and the date it was observed.
- Unknown stays unknown
- If something could not be checked, the report says not checked. It is never scored as a failure.
- No guaranteed revenue
- The CMA identifies evidence-backed risks and opportunities; it does not guarantee revenue growth. Any paid repair has an agreed scope and completion criteria, but its effect on sales is not guaranteed.
- Advice is not ranked by what we earn
- Actions are ordered by severity, urgency, ease and strength of evidence. What NHAUS would earn from a repair plays no part. A report can end with nothing to buy.
How it will work
From purchase to report, then repair only if you want it.
This is the intended journey. Step 02 is not open yet, so today it starts with an email.
-
01
Fit check
We confirm your category, your service area and whether enough comparable businesses exist. If a CMA is not a fit, we say so before you pay.
-
02
Purchase
You accept a fixed scope, price and terms, and pay online. Not open yet.
-
03
Intake
You confirm your business details, main service, ideal customer and goal. Sharing sales or lead numbers is optional. We never ask for passwords.
-
04
Reviewed report
We gather the evidence, compare and draft. A reviewer checks it, then you receive the nine sections.
-
05
Optional repair
If you want help with an action, a repair is scoped, priced and bought separately.
Repairs
A repair is a separate purchase.
Buying a CMA does not commit you to anything else. Every action in the report comes with a way to do it yourself, and you are free to use another provider.
Where NHAUS can do the work, a repair is one scoped job tied to a specific action in your report, with its own price and a test for when it is done. Nothing starts because it appears in a report. Repair scopes and prices are not published yet.
When the evidence calls for it, a repair can include work from the Production Studio, such as a film or a piece of content. The studio also takes commissions on its own, with no CMA required.
